- Patients DO NOT need to have a username and password to send a prescription request.
- Staff access the submitted prescriptions using a username and password.
- The system does NOT need any email addresses setting up by the practice.
- The data is encrypted during transmission
and held in Internet GPs UK based database in an encrypted
format until retrieved by the practice staff.
The system conforms to current UK/EU cookie legislation and NHS/GMC/BMA guidelines on handling patient data.
